Part five is essential, short and will probably generate more questions if you truly want your blog to be unique. Hang in there. Good things require patience.
One month and one week later, you are finally ready to start working with the web site. In this section you will learn how to install themes and plugins. These are the two basic components of WordPress that allow you to customize you blog or website, give it your own unique signature or brand.
Of course this is merely the beginning of customizing a blog. Nevertheless, both you and I need to keep in mind, this is for absolute beginners. We take one step at a time, all in order of necessity.
Do keep in mind, you are not yet ready to go public with your blog. Keep the search engines from indexing your site until it is complete, and you have several posts written.
Take the time to watch the videos here. If you’ve never installed a theme or a plugin, you will be amazed how easy it is. As with all things computer related, there are numerous ways to get to the same destination. Right now you only need to know one way.
