Free-6 Steps to a Better Blog Book

March 15, 2010 · 7 comments

Blog promotion, whether social networking with DIGG, Facebook, Twitter or best SEO practices is a hot topic. It has taken quite a bit of work putting this together in a format beginners can easily grasp. I feel like I just finished a “Dummies” book.

Rather than go through this entire course online, I’ve produced a free book with the entire six weeks of material in it. At this time the book is available in PDF format only. Later I may compile it into the .mobi format for e-readers, or whatever format becomes most common for readers such as Kindle or iPad.

You are free to download the book, use it as you may and I sincerely hope it gets you started with a new blog or website. Do keep in mind, this is copyrighted material. I will gladly share it, but I do require that you have permission, and all I ask in return is a credit for the production and ownership of the book.

Please share this with anyone you know who is interested in building a professional blog or website. And give me some feedback, good or bad. If I can improve this book, please let me know.

I haven't looked yet, but I'm sure it's going to be great. And I like this better than trying to do it online (being old fashioned and all). Hey – one question – when I get the host – there's a cost with that, right? I just want to keep track of how much I spend on the blog – which, at this moment, is $21 for the GoDaddy name purchases.

I hope there are no errors in it, but typos happen. And I hope if something is found to be wrong, someone will bring it to my attention.

Using HostGator http://www.hostgator.com/ as an example, the cost is $4.95 a month (as of this writing). You get a lot of bang for your buck at that price. They usually have some sort of special so be sure to ask about coupons and specials as well.

I missed them….thank God for “Worthy of Attention”! I bet it's bookmarked now.

Do you have another site? I wonder if I've ever commented before….I remember being here. It's late….LONG day at the office and still no grandchild….she's taking her dear sweet precious time. I'll spoil her later.

Thank you so much. And yes, you will spoil her. I do it with mine.
