I have added a new section, simply called Writing to WebLog Redux. Although most of my writing has been technical, manuals and instructional in nature, I have also written two books (neither published) and numerous short stories. In the far away past I had a few articles published in various magazines, the now defunct Modern Photography for example.
For a short time back in the nineties, I had an online email publication for the Linux OS. Linux has since outgrown me, and I have lost interest in it.
The first story, The Meeting, previously published online back when blogs were called journals or journaling on what was then personal websites. This republication has been edited to fit your screen… Kidding! Just wanted to see if you were paying attention. It has been edited to make it more suitable as a standalone piece for this blog.
I love feedback, and welcome comments about this or writing in general. Finally, for all those who have endured company meetings, enjoy.

Hal, you sure do have a lot of hobbies/interests!
I've had the good fortune to do a lot of disparate things in my life. How I came to be a ballroom dance instructor (for a very short time) is a long, long story.
In fact, my wife and I met at a ballroom dance. That was the best thing to come out of that experience.
